A 360° Panorama of Jerash’s Archaelogical Museum

SHARE

This 360-degree panorama opens inside the Jerash Archaeological Museum’s main gallery, a calm circular space lined with glass display cases. Around the room, pottery, glassware, lamps, coins and small finds trace the long history of Gerasa and its surrounding region. Stone fragments and pedestal blocks stand across the pale marble floor, while a large sarcophagus or carved stone monument occupies a central glass case. Dark wooden columns, high clerestory windows and warm ceiling lights give the gallery a quiet, old-fashioned museum atmosphere. Doorways lead into further rooms, suggesting more collections beyond the panorama. It is a welcome indoor pause after the bright, open expanse of Jerash’s archaeological park.
