Mount Nebo

Mount Nebo, located in western Jordan, is a revered biblical site believed to be where Prophet Moses saw the Promised Land before his passing. Standing at 817 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and even Jerusalem on clear days.

The site features the Memorial Church of Moses, a Byzantine-era church with stunning mosaic floors dating back to the 6th century AD. Pilgrims and visitors can also see the Brazen Serpent Monument, symbolising Moses’ staff. Today, Mount Nebo remains an important spiritual and historical destination, drawing both religious travellers and history enthusiasts.
