Step inside the ancient monastery of Khirbet Al-Deir and explore a quiet sanctuary where centuries of history converge. This immersive 360° panorama reveals the inside of the great round Iron Age tower, later used as a church – a use the excavator dates to the Ayyubid–Mamluk period. Massive limestone blocks form the circular structure, while the weathered stone walls and surviving architectural details reflect the site’s transformation from a military outpost into a secluded place of Christian worship. Subtle traces of carved stonework and the building’s unique circular layout hint at its remarkable architectural evolution.
