Visiting Tell Deir Alla offers a fascinating glimpse into one of Jordan’s most important archaeological sites, where excavations uncovered layers of settlement dating from the Bronze and Iron Ages, including the famous Deir Alla Inscription mentioning the prophet Balaam son of Beor.
