This 360° panorama takes you to the West Church of Pella, one of three triapsidal Byzantine churches in the ancient city, alongside the Civic Complex Church and the East Church. It dates to the 6th century AD, when Pella was the seat of a bishop in the province of Palaestina Secunda.
Turn through the view to take in the ruins and the landscape of the Jordan Valley around them. The West Church was one of the buildings damaged by the earthquake of AD 749, which brought down much of Umayyad Pella.
It is one of several panoramas of Pella on this site. Use the Pella travel guide to plan your route around the churches, the odeon and the main mound, or read the full profile of Pella for the history.
