Qal’at Fassu’a: A Hajj Fort above the Desert in Photos

At the head of the Batn al-Ghul pass, about 50 km south-east of Ma’an, Qal’at Fassu’a is a small 18th-century Hajj fort with two reservoirs. This album follows the visit: the ruined fort, its vaulted rooms, the reservoirs and the plateau around it.
