The weathered sandstone glows in warm shades of gold and orange under the intense midday sun, revealing thousands of years of erosion across its rough surfaces. Scattered rocks and collapsed stones nearby hint at the many other dolmens that once covered these hills in far greater numbers.
Looking west, the panorama opens dramatically toward the Jordan Valley, where the landscape drops sharply into hazy plains below.
