Built for the Umayyad estate at nearby Qasr Al-Hallabat, Hammam As-Sarah is a small 8th-century bathhouse that shows how a warm bath worked in a dry land. This album goes from the outside of the building and its reused wreath lintel into the reception hall and the changing, warm and domed hot rooms, down to the floors and stone pillars of the heating system, and out to the well, the water-wheel base and the fountain basin of the garden.
