Al-Hasa Train Station

Al-Hasa Ottoman Train Station, located along the historic Hejaz Railway in southern Jordan, is a well-preserved relic of the early 20th-century Ottoman era. Built around 1900 to serve pilgrims and goods travelling between Damascus and Medina, the station features traditional stone architecture, arched doorways, and original railway tracks that still evoke its historic function. Surrounded by desert landscapes, the site offers a glimpse into Jordan’s role in regional transportation and the legacy of the Ottoman Empire’s ambitious rail network connecting the Levant to the Arabian Peninsula.
