Qal’at Qatrana was constructed around an outer courtyard. It measures approximately 10 meters in length, with overall dimensions of 17.35 meters by 22.2 meters. It features a main entrance located in the centre of the southern facade. The structure incorporates military and defensive features, such as arrow and rifle outlets designed as longitudinal slits, as well as oil troughs, including one positioned above the main entrance.
